A Right of Passage-in the beehive state at least

Abbey informed us this year that she may quite possibly be the only child going into 4th grade this year who hasn't been to Lagoon. We could see her point so we decided to brave the heat, crowds and carnie-ness of of it all and take the kiddios. Despite all the factor for why we shouldn't enjoy ourselves, we actually did. There were a bunch of new rides we had never been on and unfortunately Emma was just an inch shy for most of these. We split up and one parent went with the older kids and one stayed with the younger ones. There were also a bunch of new rides in the kiddie area and Emma had tons of fun with Asher. We would meet up periodically and do the rides the whole family could go on. We really had so much fun! Asher was so into it, we skipped his nap and stayed clear until bed time.

The gang before we got started. Emma just cannot leave Asher alone.
The boats
The rockets
The cars
The planes-Asher threw a fit and had to be in the front. Emma is so obliging.
We didn't get any pictures of the big girls because the rides they went on were too fast to capture them, but they had fun as well. They were so tired that they all fell asleep...one...

one. The End. Glad that's over!

Looks like you guys had a great time. I haven't been to Lagoon forever! My kids don't even know it exists, so I am in the clear for awhile. Your kids are so dang cute! Loved all of your fun pictures.

I love that you captured the sleeping children! Too funny! Now you can call yourself a good mommy because you did this! :-) You really are a great mommy even if you didn't take them to Lagoon but to them right now I am sure YOU ROCK!!
